Getting To Know You
Hello Academy Class,
Today you had an opportunity to watch a video, “The Power of Union is Strength- Crabs vs. Ants vs. Penguins Advertisement,”
and discuss how your strengths contribute to the strength of the whole (your class and your teams). Now is your opportunity to show others what those strengths are and see how it adds to the power of the team, and your class.
First, you will click the link https://padlet.com/james_borden/eqiy63a31lfn. When logged on to the site, double click any area on the screen. After the text box opens, enter your full name for the title. Write your response to the question, “if I were an animal what would I be?”
To give others a fuller effect of your animalistic traits, go the website: https://ipiccy.com/. Click the more icon to enable webcam and take a self portrait. After you have taken a self portrait, find a pic of an animal that you have chosen online, clipart, a picture of an animal you have taken, or use the provided tools by clicking new image and then press create. Explore the various tools to makeup your new image. Overlay your construction over the original picture of yourself and enjoy the editing process. When you have finished your new image showing the animalistic side of you, edit you post on our collaborative wall, “Getting to know me,” by clicking your text box and select the edit option. Click the upload function and attach your animal self-portrait to the text box.
